Terms & Conditions
(Please read carefully as they set out our respective rights and obligations. Once you begin your tour, by default, you accept these terms and conditions.)
Once 'Irish Whiskey Museum' confirms your booking, a contract is made between 'Irish Whiskey Museum' and you upon the terms and conditions set out below. 'Irish Whiskey Museum' hereinafter referred to as 'we', will only confirm your booking once we have received full payment for your tour unless you are a business partner in which case you will be billed as per our partner agreement. Please note the difference in terms and conditions specific to your particular tour (i.e. Standard Tour Vs. VIP Tour).
Once full payment is made you will be allocated a place/places on your chosen tour and a confirmation is emailed to you. This is your confirmation of your booking. This should be printed and saved for your own reference. Once you begin your tour, you accept and abide by these terms and conditions. We accept no responsibility for incorrect email or inability to deliver email. If your confirmation does not arrive on time or at all, then you must ask us to resend the email confirmation of the tours you have paid for. All internet bookings will be confirmed by email. We reserve the right to sell any places reserved without full payment or a deposit. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to check the accuracy of dates booked upon receipt of their tour confirmation. All prices listed are per person unless otherwise stated such as for a Family or Group booking.
There is no insurance cover included in the price of the ticket beyond the standard public liability insurance cover of our building. We accept no responsibility for the theft, loss or damage to personal belongings at any time during the duration of your tour.
Cancellation of your booking or amending a group size must be by phone, email or in writing to Irish Whiskey Museum. When written notification has been received by Irish Whiskey Museum a fee of €25 will be levied to cover administration costs. You are entitled to a full refund only if you give us up to 7 days notice of your intention to cancel or amend a group size. You are entitled to a 50% refund if you give us less than 7 days notice of your intention to cancel or amend a group size. If you choose to cancel 24 hours before the start of your tour or if you arrive with a smaller group size than previously booked, NO REFUND will be granted. You can choose to change your tour departure to another date (subject to availability) 48 hours before departure subject to availability and entirely at the discretion of the Irish Whiskey Museum Management.
4. Late Arrivals
Late arrivals may avail of the options outlined below;
a) Individuals may continue onto a departed tour within a few minutes late arrival at the discretion of management or wait for the next tour
b) GROUPS have the following three options;
i. The group may continue with their arranged tour in an Express format to finish at the allocated time
ii. The group may take an alternative tour slot, subject to availability and at the discretion of management
iii. The group may take the next available tour slot at an additional charge of €150 to cover displace guests who may be pushed forward to a later tour to accommodate the group. Please note that if there are other groups in the building the the late arriving group may only have the Express Tour option open to them.
Management will endeavour to assist individuals or groups with the least amount of inconvenience possible.
5. Changes by Us
We reserve the right to alter our itinerary in the event of happenings outside the control of Irish Whiskey Museum Limited. This includes outbreaks of 'foot and mouth' or other contagious diseases, revolution, national or local strikes and/or protests, social disorder, political unrest.
We are constantly striving to make our tours even more brilliant than they are perceived by many to be, therefore should options open or become open to us, that we feel will enhance your experience of our beloved motherland then we reserve the right to include these in your best interests.
We reserve the right to increase or decrease the price of our tours at any time. We reserve the right to launch amended /brochures in the public domain at any time.
Your appointed Irish Whiskey Museum Tour Guide may need to make a decision to interrupt or amend the tour in the interests of safety. It is a condition of bookings that you comply with the authority and decisions of the appointed representative of Irish Whiskey Museum Ltd. If you do not comply with the said representative and are not compatible with the general enjoyment and well being of members of the tour, we reserve the right to refuse to allow you to continue the tour. In such a case we will not be liable for any refund, compensation or any additional costs incurred by you. We cannot accept liability for the behaviour of others on your tour nor if any facilities are curtailed as a result of their actions. It is your responsibility to stay with your tour guide at all times during your tour and to offer them the respect that they offer you. Because of the nature of the service, Irish Whiskey Museum Ltd. will not be liable if any tour leaves or arrives later than its specified time though we endeavour at all times to avoid such incidences.
